Beginning of my journey...

I've started my college life last week, on 9th April 2012.

A little bit nervous, mix with some fear. Fear of...? I scare I could not catch up my studies. It seems so easy in everybody's eyes. It's ONLY art, how hard would it be? That's bullshit. It might be easier a little compare to business studies or something, but please don't say it has no difficulty, ~~I think people are just too shallow~~. -.-

For the 1st semester (7 weeks), I have only 3 subjects.

1st, Visual Communication, lecturer: Mr. Shah.

He's a nice guy, his class, his kingdom, we're the king & queens. I LIKE THAT. LOL.

For now, we only use Illustrator (software).

Well, teaching us the basic things, short-cut keys, tracing, pathing & stuffs.

It seems the more relaxing class for me. :)

Seriously, won't be stress. But Mr.Shah said we're too serious. 'Cause we don't make a sound when we're doing things that he wanted us to do. Well, maybe we're just too good girls & boy. Our class only has 7 people. I don't think we're the noisy type while studying. Perhaps, for now. No one can guarantee how would we look like in the future. Well, we'll see. :P

2nd, History of Art & Design. Lecturer : Ms.Brenda.

The most boring class. Well, IT'S HISTORY. How interesting could it be? -.-

I'm kinda stress in her class. 'Cause I scare I would miss out anything important during the lesson. I'm pretty blur. I don't really know which is the important part of the lesson. I'm already started to worry the test. It's on the end of May. Pretty rush actually. Even though the paper test (obj, subj & essays) only contain of 30%, but it seems not easy to get a higher mark. We're doing our 1st assignment. It's fun. KINDA. Manuscript. I illuminated the alphabets of the manuscript & also helping out to write it. Ms.Brenda did comment & gave some idea on my artwork(alphabets). I learnt something. :)

We would have to do a magazine spread after the manuscript. Soon we'll start our final project too. I have no clue to do the final project.

It's the hardest subject for me, I guess.

3rd, Basic Drawing. Lecturer: Ms.Angie.

100 sketches per week. It does killed a lot of my brain cells.

It's the 2nd week, I wonder how am I going to find another 100 things to draw. Really crazy man. My seniors only need to draw 10 sketches per week.

Maybe Ms.Angie wanna to train us to draw better & better. We need to "master" our skills in only 7 weeks. She left us no choice. :'(

We'd drew A3 size for 2 weeks. Next week we'll start to draw A2 size. OMG, it's huge. A1 would be the next target. SAVE ME~~~
