Travel in Phuket 普吉岛上疯狂的日子

Beware, this would be a long post. Ha! 

Travel to Phuket, Thailand! WOO HOO!

Consider my second time to travel overseas (first time was my graduation travel at S'pore), second time travel to somewhere by plane (first time was Langkawi). 

Come back here. Who I with and why I travelled to Phuket?

I was going there with Hui Wah, 3 college mates plus one lecturer.

Technically, it was the lecturer brought us there. He sponsored most of the expenses in this trip.

Yea, he paid our flight tickets and hotels. But WHY?

Oh he said it's sort of a reward. A reward of helping him completed sculptures. (Yes, the lecturer who indirectly made me injured)

Here we are! LCCT! Departures! We were so excited! 

Never travel that far, with friends some more. :3

The flight was pretty fast, we reached Phuket from Kuala Lumpur within 2 hours. 

Feel like just awhile, *poof* we reached! xD

The landing was sucks. Feel like crashing something. The captain was rushing I think because our flight was delayed about 30 mins. 

Phuket Airport.

This is our first hotel. Thai Kamala Village, Kamala Beach, Phuket.

We spent two nights here.

The guy over there was a nice guy. He was a taxi driver, single and he likes gambling. LOL. What does it even matter? IDK, Steven (my lecturer) told us that, just feel like typing it out. xD

We had supper on the first night. Steven bought lots of snacks, Oyster Omelet,  Pad-Thai (we called it part time, it's actually fried mee) which really taste good! Non-spicy one they usually put sugar, YUMMY! Delicious! 

The very first morning. My plan was actually capture sunrise and sunset in Phuket.

Hui Wah and I woke up around 5 something for it. Unfortunately the mountain blocked the sun, we were not at the right direction and position to watch sunrise. What a waste. 

Well, never mind, I did some landscapes instead. The beach was so clear and quite cloudy. I like clouds, it can form lots of shapes and they always look good in photos, it decorated my shots. :)

It's really a beautiful beach - Kamala beach. You can even see the reflection of the sky on the beach. Amazing! :) All I can think of at the moment was: How good if I could do photoshooting here. It's a great place to do it!

After enjoy the beauty of the environment we went back to hotel (just beside the beach) to bathe and have our breakfast. Then, we walked around.

We went to 7-11 to bought some snacks. I found Green Tea Flavour Ice Cream! I'm loved! Wahahaha! So happy! M'sia doesn't have green tea flavour. :/

Do you know how many 7-11 on this island? Well, idk either. I just know that's A LOT of 'em!!!

Seriously, not far away you would see one. If you're driving you could see few of 'em in only one road. Kept seeing 7-11. How convenient. LOL. If you spent 50 baht and above you would get one small sticker. You could collect it and exchange 'em.

Lots of animals on this island too. Cats and dogs... A cat was scared by Steven and it actually vomited. AAHAH! No joke! Seriously! What a pity cat. Maybe it just finished its meal then one weird looking guy just scared it off. LOL. 

OH YA! When I was running to the sea earlier in that mornig, there was a dog running behind me. WTF. Hui Wah shouted my name and I freeze, I don't dare to move. That dog thought I was its master or wanted to play with me? Stop it. Leave me alone. I might think you're cute but please don't come near me. -_-

The beauty of Phuket. 这张超有Feel~ :D

We bought lots of snacks at the supermarket. TOO MANY things that we bought especially these two guys and so we have to go back to hotel by taxi. LOL. We weren't gonna walk that far with tones of things. That's crazy.

After we put down all those groceries at the hotel, we went to Phuket Zoo which costs each person 500baht. Ain't a big zoo, not much animals inside. Lots of monkeys there which very active too, jumping here and there. 

Camel. I feel sad about it. You know what? In the zoo, they allow tourist to feed the animals, they would put some vege in front of fence and put a donation box (literally you BUY them food and feed them).

They cut some holes on the fence and so you can feed them through the fence. Here's the thing, when I saw someone using the vege to tease the camel and apparently the camel is pretty hungry (I doubt that they even starve them), the camel wanted to eat and what it can do is just reach its head out to get fed. The fence is not properly cut, which actually scratch the camel. WTF. The camel craves for food and get scratch because of it. It's animal abuse to me. I can see the scratch wound on its face, around its eyes. This is sucks. Then I realized Zoo is a cruel place ever. :(

Hey deer~

Let's get back to something happy. We watched monkey show, elephant show and also crocodile show.

It's pretty lame and bored in the zoo. Zoo is never an interesting place to me. The weather in Phuket is cloudy and rainy. It rained in the evening when we were still in the zoo. :/ 

After zoo, we immediately go to Phuket Fantasea. 

It's a MUST to go there! Awesome show they have there!

The show started at 9pm. The show + buffet dinner which costs us about RM1,200 (6 persons).

Ain't cheap but worthy. Steven was already booked the tickets and stuffs, end up things don't always go well, the agent didn't book the tickets for him and he already paid for it. -_- WTH.

We could get in there earlier for buffet but cause of this incident we were pretty rush. Didn't really got much time to appreciate everything inside. Personally I hate rushing here and there, it's pretty tiring and spoiling my mood.

This is where we had our buffet. 

A huge place for dining. LOL. Can fit more than thousands of people. It showed in the internet that there's more than 100 varieties of food as options. LIE! There's a few roles with the same food (to avoid long queue), I didn't see there's 100, it's impossible. We all bet there's less than 100! LOL.

Anyway, nice decorations they have. What amazed me was the wall. Painting on the wall! I wonder how long did they took for it. Nice and detailed. It at least takes months to complete I guess.

Oh, this is my ticket sticker. The clerk at the entrance was so ardour. She just took the ticket, tear the sticker out and immediately stick right on my chest. Luckily is a SHE. -_- I was stunned and so do my friend. My friend was shocked and asked me what the hell she just did. The rest just stick on their arms, why the hell she stick on my chest? It's molest... LOL. I could probably just stick it by myself, Miss, you don't have to be that "nice". xD

Before we get in to watch the Fantasea Show. The theatre called Palace of the Elephants.

Party's over. What a day.

Day 2

Say goodbye to Kamala Beach and headed to Kalim and Pathong! 

We checked in to another hotel nearby Kalim Beach.

12 August which is the Queen's birthday. They'd parade on the street. 

We walked around and shopping! It's shopping day! :)

The pad-thai vendor. Omg, I feel hungry now. I miss it.

Seen lots of art galleries there. 

In the evening. Walked to Kalim beach from hotel (just a short distance). We sought for food.

HOO HOO! This is heaven! Mango Sticky Rice! YUMMY! Delicious!!!

I was craving for it once I heard they said it's nice to eat. I looked for it and eventually I found it in the night market stall. I shouldn't say I found it, cause it was my friends who saw it and excitingly told me that. I walked fast and blindly that night cause it was raining. LOL. I was so happy, it was the last pack! I was lucky. :) 

We went to shopping mall which called Jungceylon. Weird but pretty cool name, I don't know what it means. LOL

Oh my Hard Rock Cafe! Me and Hui Wah were planned to go there and listen to the live band. -_- Plan failed due to this trip ain't just only two of us and we were running out of money (sort of), we can't simply spend our money (but I plan my money wisely -_- ). The rest never plan to go there and they just thought we wanna take photos. Oh well. My intention wasn't just about photos. -_- Nvm, at least I've seen it and taken a few photos of it. :/

My purse looks old and dirty then I saw this cute purse at the shopping mall which only costs me 30baht. :D A souvenir for myself. I spent some time on choosing the colour. LOL. It was a tired day and I didn't even stay up late for beer with 'em. Steven was too slow, when he came to find us I was already fell asleep like a piggy and so that night was a peaceful night and everybody just being some good boys and girls who stayed and slept at their own rooms. :)

3rd day

When we checked out. They'd beer but I'd milk instead. LOL

WHY? First of all I don't really fancy beer cause it's bitter. Second, I was drinking milk, if I drink beer after having milk, I'm afraid I'm gonna have stomache. LOL

On the way to 3rd hotel, Naiyang Beach. What a packed schedule. 

We reached there and the taxi broke down. LOL. At least we reached our destination. The driver drove too fast, we actually passed by our hotel already. Luckily we can just walk, ain't really far. 

Oh hey, here's our 3rd hotel. A small bamboo..ROOM?

It's good enough for us since we were not sleeping here (flight at night). Technically it's just a room to put our stuffs and change clothes.

What a sunny day.

A day on the beach. We played in the water and just sat there for the whole day.

It was so fun when you sit in the water and the ocean wave just washed us away. Enjoying the big wave washed over you and feel the nature. It was pretty awesome and fun. I technically crawled towards the sea once I've washed away to the beach. LOL. It was fun and I know it's pretty lame. We sat there like nobody business even it suddenly rain we still remain sitting over there. LOL. It was cold, strong wind and rain, staying in the water was feeling better. xD We had fun, we laughed, we enjoyed. :) 

Taa daa~! Such a romantic place to have dinner. :P

Another souvenir for myself. The rest aren't for myself. So I must buy something for me. 

Ah Moi. He likes cute thing, spot the elephant bag! LOL. He likes pink too. He order watermelon smoothie (twice, he ordered the same thing during lunch at different restaurant). We found it so gay so I take a photo of him with these cute stuffs. HAHA

After our dinner. We rushed to the airport. The guys were pretty worried that their beers couldn't passed the custom. LOL. BUT THEY DID! They bought lots of instant noodles too and they took a big box from the supermarket to put their food and beer into it. (Y) Give them a cookie! 

We were the last people to get into the plane. It was so close. Ah Kitt threw away his departure card and he needed to take it over again. We should not simply throw things away, seriously. They got into the plane just in time. Phewwww... Luckily.

Bye, Phuket. I will travel to Phuket again someday! I will go to other places in Phuket and most importantly - SNORKELLING!!! I must choose a right season to go there, never go there during rainy season.
