Graduation Trip to Langkawi Day 1 & 2
Langkawi Trip
7th to 10th October 2014
With Hui Wah, Mei Kuan, Pooi, Nicole and Chuin Yih
Morning flight to Langkawi from Kuala Lumpur. That's our plane at the back! :)
A simple trip with college friends to celebrate we've finished our last semester in Diploma.
Lucky me, window seat. HOHO
In Langkawi, you have to rent car or bike. We've rented Naza Ria which is just fine for 6 of us. Taxi is not recommend because they charge by destination not counted by meter.
We stayed at Adina Motel. It's cheap and comfy. Walking distance to Cenang Beach. Near to Underwater World and lots of restaurant along the street. Most of the shops/restaurants open at night. Not much choices in the afternoon.
DAY 1
Underwater World
We bought tickets in Groupon which saved RM5 each.
Original Price: RM30 for Malaysian
If not mistaken, senior citizen would get cheaper price.
For foreigner it costs about RM50-60.
Penguin. What a good and fast swimmer!
I'm obsess with deep sea jellyfish. It's so beautiful.
Cenang Beach
Waiting for sunset with beer! :)
Apple Cider - My favourite
Duty Free Island, beer is so much cheaper in the city! It only costs me RM4.90 but in city it costs about RM11. Chocolate is also cheap! :)
My new slippers. I bought it for Langkawi and Boracay trip. I'm a Beach Go-er in travel. :P
Sunset time
DAY 2
Wildlife Park
RM15 for Malaysian
You can buy feeding food for RM6 at the entrance. Animal Lover would love it here. Close contact with animals and you can feed them, they have signboard to show you what food you should be feeding them.
Hungry raccoon. They'll reach out to you if you put your hand close to them, no matter is there any food on your hand. I think they assume you have food cause they're hungry. LOL
White Raccoon
Monkey - Sit Like A Boss
Put seeds on your hand and they'll fly to you.
Active little lamb. So adorable :)
It just want some food. Crave for food.
Nicole with bunny :3
After visited Wildlife Park, we went to Eagle Square, the landmark of Langkawi.
Nothing much there, just the giant statue and take some typical tourist photo with it.
We decided to go Black Sand Beach for the evening. Before we heading there, we went to Tanjung Rhu.
This is Tanjung Rhu, I think that's private beach on the left. This is not as busy as Cenang Beach.
Here we are, Black Sand Beach.
Sun has been blocking by the mountains. Well, still a nice sunset though. Nothing much here. The beach wasn't so clean. Be careful when you walk on the beach with bare foot, it's possible you might step on glass. Irresponsible tourist that don't give a damn about environment would get karma. -_- Please take care of the cleanliness of the beach la...
They're looking for stones to throw to the water. LOL
Lastly, our epic jump shot which we've tried and jump for several times.
More photos to be updated soon...
To be continue.
